WHAT DOES ADVOCATE HUB DO?
The goal of Advocate Hub is simple: to strengthen the capacity of advocates and stakeholders to contribute to informed, evidence-based public-health policy discussions. Our programme encompasses crucial aspects such as strategy, messaging, evidence handling, media training, and community engagement, all designed to strengthen government relations and engage with public health officials, and the medical community to participate in public policy discussions.

WHY ADVOCATE HUB?
Advocacy often thrives on passion, but it can falter in execution due to unclear objectives, weak arguments, and inconsistent messaging: issues commonly stemming from gaps in knowledge and experience. With robust support in community engagement, government relations, and understanding how to interpret science and research, these challenges in public policy advocacy can be effectively addressed.

HOW ADVOCATE HUB CAN HELP
Advocate Hub’s flagship programme, Strategic Harm Reduction, provides participants with a structured introduction to the science, policy landscape, and advocacy strategies relevant to harm-reduction approaches in public health. Advocate Hub is an online learning community. We also provide 1:1 mentoring and group seminars - both of which can be conducted either online or on-site.
